Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student at any one of the GEF-funded colleges or universities listed on this Web site. This includes enrollment at either a GEF-designated Gravure Resource Center or Educational Partner Program.
Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at the time the scholarship is awarded. A declared major in Printing, Graphic Arts, or Graphic Communications must be demonstrated.
Applicant must exhibit scholarly performance and demonstrate academic success in his or her studies. A GPA of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale) is required.
All scholarship applications must be submitted by U.S. Mail or email, faxes will not be accepted. All applications must be received by May 31, 2010.
Scholarships are awarded annually to students enrolled full-time at one of the designated GEF Learning Resource Centers: Arizona State University, California Polytechnic State University, Clemson University, Murray State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin-Stout, and Western Michigan University. Award selection is made by faculty at the designated colleges and universities.

The Gravure Publishing Council (GPC) is an organization headed by end-users of gravure printing.Gravure Publishing Council Scholarship was established to promote and advance gravure as the preferred printing method for high-quality catalogs, inserts, supplements, and other direct marketing materials and to assist young people to enter the industry. One (1) scholarship in the amount of $1,500 will be awarded.

HARRY V. QUADRACCI Memorial Scholarship
During his lifetime, Harry filled many roles: printer, leader, innovator, visionary, entrepreneur, family man, friend and a true believer of education. Harry was known as an industry icon for his many innovative ideas and commitment to technological advancement. His dedication to the industry continued through his involvement and love of the industry. He served on the Board of Trustees for the Gravure Education Foundation and the Gravure Association of America. One scholarship in the amount of $1000 will be awarded to a student enrolled on a full-time basis at any of the Printing Management/Graphic Arts programs at one of the GEF designated learning Resource Centers. Applicant must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater and exhibit scholarly performance and demonstrate academic success. Student must demonstrate either extra-curricular involvement in school activities or community involvement and a financial need.

In memory of Werner "Dutch" B. Thiele, founder of Thiele-Engdahl, Inc., this scholarship commemorates two of his life-long goals: to promote gravure as a print process for high quality packaging, and to encourage and assist young people as they enter the industry. One scholarships in the amount of $1,000 is awarded annually to students enrolled on a full-time basis at one of the GEF designated Learning Resource Centers: Arizona State University, California Polytechnic State University, Clemson University, Murray State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin-Stout, Western Michigan University, University of Central Missouri and Pittsburg State University. Applicant must be at least a sophomore in college at the time of the award with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
