This article originally appeared in the (02) February 2006 issue of Gravure Magazine

Over forty years ago, I started to develop and design the first chrome tank with platinum-coated titanium anodes, (compared to lead anodes, which were in use at that time). Today, I am still developing and improving the plating process. Copper plating is, so far, the only process that is absolutely not controllable, until now. I will briefly talk about the stages of development the copper plating process has gone through to help explain why we are talking today about the DisCoP System (Dissolvable Copper Plating Technology).
